This is Zipp's innovative all-road handlebar, the Service Course SL 70 XPLR. The bar's moniker, XPLR, exemplifies the desire to explore the world with an expanded definition of cycling on a drop bar bicycle—from paved roads onto gravel, mud, dirt, and even single track. The Service Course SL 70 XPLR helps you go faster by placing your body, starting with your hands, in an optimal "comfort zone" position for hours of rough riding over mixed terrain. Today's riders demand a few things out of their cockpit, whether they are doing a two hour training ride from home or a 200 mile gravel adventure: comfort, control, and the ability to carry what they need. We met these needs by creating a bar with shallow and wide drops, specifically focusing on two crucial metrics: outsweep and flare. Outsweep is created by rotating the drop below the brake perch outward. Flare is created by rotating the entire drop above the brake perch outward. - Distinctive Zipp cosmetics - 70mm Reach and 115mm drop allow a comfortable hoods position and a shallow drops postion - 5° drop Flare and 11° drop outsweep creates a drops position 6cm wider than hoods - Ergonomic top with 3° backsweep - Lifetime warranty

The bar's moniker, XPLR, exemplifies the desire to explore the world with an expanded definition of cycling on a drop bar bicycle — from paved roads to gravel, mud, dirt, and even singletrack. The Service Course 70 XPLR helps you go faster by placing your body, starting with your hands, in an optimal "comfort zone" position for hours of rough riding over mixed terrain. We threw in a bit of everything for our take on the ultimate gravel handlebar setup. Rise, sweep, and flare make for an ultra-comfortable handlebar that keeps you in control no matter the terrain. Add the Cruise Control Top and Drop Grips and our Really Long Bar Tape to get to next-level comfort and performance. For the rider that wants to go everywhere, the Kitchen Sink Handlebar is the bar that has everything. With widths from 44 cm up to 50 cm, it's clear we believe in wide. But the added stability and control of a wider bar should not come at the cost of comfort. So we've thrown everything into this handlebar: - 20mm RISE means less pressure on the hands and a broad range of fit options. - 7° SWEEP means the bar is positioned where your hands want to be, whether you're on the flats, the hoods or the drops. - 25° FLARE on a compact drop means a stable, aerodynamic drop position that is actually comfortable enough to use. - Optional endurance loop adds an alternative aerodynamic riding position and a perfect spot for gear storage and mounting accessories.

The DRV/AEROa is a high-performance aluminum aero drop bar featuring a truncated airfoil for aerodynamics, comfort and stiffness. The curve has been optimized for modern road levers. The innovative fit and ergonomics of the DRV system include a 7° ramp angle and a 4° flare in the drops, allowing a natural wrist angle for enhanced comfort and control. The DRiVe metric by Profile Design pinpoints the precise position in the drops where riders instinctively place their hands. The metric is incorporated into a new series of progressively sized handlebars designed around a cyclist's most powerful hand positions. What is your DRiVe? Gone are the days of simply measuring a drop bar by the standard reach, drop and width. Our DRiVe metric pinpoints the precise position in the drops where riders instinctively place their hands. The metric is incorporated into a new series of progressively sized handlebars designed around a cyclist's most powerful hand positions. - The DRiVe Metric: The DRiVe (Drop Reach Variant) position is measured via a 73° line beginning at the bar bore. The DRiVe metric pinpoints the line intersection with the drop. - DRiVe Reclaims Comfort, Power & Control: Modern drop bar designs are deeply tied to tradition. They are designed based on outdated road bike sizing rendering many of cycling intended hand positions unattainable when riding modern frame geometry. The ride positions that are the most powerful and allow for the most control have now shifted into virtually unattainable positions. DRiVe reclaims many of the ideal positions most critical to comfort, power, and control. - Fit Made Simple: To predict the DRiVe position of any given rider, we looked at an anthropological study focusing on the correlation among handbreadth, shoulder width, and height. By measuring your handbreadth we can easily identify a DRiVe that will be compatible with your body type. - Progressive Ergonomics: The tops and hoods complement the powerhouse DRiVe position and the Reach and DRiVe are progressively sized as the bar increases in width. This progressive sizing ensures the most powerful positions remain right where they are needed. - Weight: 315g (38cm) - Size: 36, 38, 40, 42, 44cm (center to center) - Reach: 70, 75, 80mm - Clamp Width: 100mm - Clamp Diameter: 31.8mm - Clip Compatible: Yes - Drop: 122mm, 136mm, 148mm - Drop Outsweep: 4° - Drive: 105mm, 120mm, 135mm - Internal Cable Routing: Yes (Mechanical / Di2) - Max Brake Lever Torque: 10Nm - Max Torque Clamping to Bar: 6Nm - Material: 6061-T6 AL

For all the off-road drop bar fans, Velo Orange offers the Far Bar, an affordable off-road drop bar. With off-road drop bars, most riders have the bars set up at the same height as they would have flat bars set to. Most of the time you are riding, your hands are on the hoods of the brake levers. Then, for steep descents, put your butt back behind the saddle and use the drops to get a better grip on the brake levers. You can run brifters or standard road brake levers on them and use bar end shifters as well. The Daija Cycleworks crest appears on each side of the 31.8 mm clamp area. These bars are a little different then road bars in terms of measuring the width. The listed width - 44cm or 48 cm - is measured center of the drops to centre of the hoods. The overall width is 585mm for the 44cm size, 625mm for the 48cm size. - Weight: 292g - Drop: 110mm - Drop Bend Style: Compact - Reach: 76mm - Material: Aluminum - Bar Top Style: Round

Easton’s new AX series line of bars meets the needs of the growing drop bar adventure and gravel segment. Building off the highly successful and critically acclaimed line of new MCD road bars and EA70 and EC70 AX bar utilizes the same top shape and reach as well as the ergonomic drop shape but turns up the drop flare from 4 degrees all the way up to 16 degrees. The wider stance in the drops provides more control on rough terrain and long gravel assaults. Why 16-degrees?
