About UsThe Devil's Gear Bike Shop was founded by Matthew Feiner in 2001. Matt had been a long time bike racer, and had spent a while working in another (now gone) bike shop in New Haven, but he felt there was a need for a shop that would treat everyone in a friendly manner, no matter the price of their bike, their knowledge of bike technology or their level of fitness.
Since opening, the shop has grown and grown, has been recognized with many awards, and has many times been voted New Haven's Best Bike Shop by readers of the New Haven Advocate.
HOURS:
Monday - 10am to 6pm
Tuesday - 10am to 6pm
Wednesday -10am to 6pm
Thursday - 10am to 7pm
Friday* - 10am to 6pm
Saturday - 10am to 5pm
Sunday - 11am to 5pm
*Please note: we close an hour early the last Friday of every month so that we can participate in Critical Mass. In New Haven, this is a civil, fun, family-friendly bike parade that pulls the bike-riding community together and sometimes winds up with the sharing of beer and pizza or similar.
